What’s Next for America’s Affordable Health Choices Act

Heartbeat of the Capitol

The Energy and Commerce Committee approved H.R. 3200, “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act,” by a vote of 31 to 28 before the August recess.

Across America, citizens are speaking out and weighing in at town hall meetings. When lawmakers return, congress will be that much closer to a full House vote.  This legislation will be merged with provisions reported by the Committees on Ways and Means and Education and Labor for consideration by the full House of Representatives.
